COVID-19 Winery Updates

Updates

At Sandhill Winery, Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, Black Hills Estate Winery, Red Rooster Winery & Gray Monk Winery our number one priority is the health and safety of our guests, teammates and the community. We are continuing to monitor COVID-19 updates and are following direction from Public Health authorities.

Face Masks are mandatory at our estates.

Proof of Vaccination

As of December 22, wineries are required by BC Law to ask guests to show their Vaccination Card QR code (proof of vaccination to be scanned) and valid photo ID (Driver’s License, BC Services Card, Passport) upon arrival, for seated tasting experiences (drop-in or pre-booked) and standing tastings at the bar.

Vaccine Cards will not be required to visit our Tasting Rooms to purchase wine.

Visit the BC Government website to download your BC Vaccine Card.

We continue to have the following measures in place at our estates:

  • Mask are mandatory indoors and where social distancing is not possible.
  • We have increased the frequency of disinfecting in all locations and shared spaces. High traffic areas such as tasting bars, cash desks and pin pads are sanitized regularly.
  • We ask that guests maintain social distance from other visitors and staff members when possible.
  • We ask that guests sanitize their hands upon entering each area of the estate.
  • Capacity restrictions are in place within our retail stores and restaurants.
  • Seated tasting and dining tables are distanced and will not be pre-set.
  • Our staff have been trained on proper handwashing, sanitary standards and safe work practices. Staff are asked to remain at home if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.
  • While we respect that some guests will decide to stay home, we know that other guests will continue with their plans to visit wine country. At Sandhill Winery, Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, Black Hills Estate Winery, Red Rooster Winery & Gray Monk Winery we are monitoring the situation, and we’re committed to maintaining the highest possible standards for the safety of our guests and employees.
