Ontario's Winery of the Year 2019 is the best kept secret in wine country. A small boutique winery that focuses on limited production wines, including world-renowned Rieslings and Cabernet Franc.
Before driving to Niagara-on-the-Lake, we drove up the winding road of the escarpment to Thirty Bench Wine Makers. The view from the escarpment is amazing. We loved the intimate atmosphere of this winery in comparison to some of the larger and crowded ones. The staff were extremely polite, knowledgeable, and service oriented. A Glimpse of our History
30th Anniversary
Our winery opened its doors in 1994, 14 years after Dr. Muckle purchased an orchard on the Beamsville Bench and planted some of the first Riesling vineyards in Niagara in the early 80s. Since then, we've been crafting mouthwatering Rieslings from our small estate vineyard. We invite you to join us at the winery to celebrate our favourite varietal by sipping on a glass of wine in the vineyard overlooking Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline in the distance.

Monday & Thursday 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday to Sunday 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM The winery is open on all holidays except on Christmas and New Year's Day.

Our curated Winemaker's Selections wine tasting is $35 of four VQA wines from our Winemaker’s Selection and Small Lot collection. Niagara Winemaker's Collection and No.30 Wine Club members receive complimentary wine tastings for themselves and up to 5 guests.

Thirty Bench does not have a restaurant. We offer cheese and charcuterie boards to enjoy. Additional snacks may be purchased from the wine boutique.

Thirty Bench is located at 4281 Mountainview Road in Beamsville, Ontario, on the stunning Beamsville Bench. The direct drive from Niagara Falls along the QEW is approximately 40 minutes, and 60 minutes from Toronto.
